WHAT TO DO

Want to make sure you’re ready to vote in the upcoming elections? Learn about registering to vote, obtaining absentee ballots, and ensuring you are properly registered. Get all the information you need to make your voice heard at the polls!

As the election season ramps up, it’s important to make sure you are ready to vote and that your voice is heard in the upcoming elections. Here are some key steps to take to ensure you are prepared to cast your ballot:

Review your voter registration status:
One crucial step to take is to review your voter registration to ensure it has not been purged. Voter purging is a process that removes individuals from voter registration lists. If you didn’t vote in the last general election, your voter registration may have been purged. To check your voter registration status, contact the Hot Springs County Clerk at (307) 864-3515 to check.

Register to vote or change your registration:
If you are not registered to vote, take the time to do so now. In Wyoming, you do not have the option to register online, so you will need to either register in person or by mail (and if you register by mail, you will need to get your registration form notarized). If you have moved or changed your name, be sure to update your voter registration with your new information. It’s a good idea to print the Wyoming Voter Registration form and fill it out ahead of time before signing in front of the county clerk or a notary.

Make sure you have the required documents before you register to vote. Check out our Voter Registration page for more information.

Request an absentee ballot:
If you are unable to vote in person on Election Day, consider requesting an absentee ballot. This will allow you to vote from the comfort of your own home and ensure your voice is heard in the election. Be sure to submit your request early to allow time for processing and mailing.

Spread the word:
Once you have taken the necessary steps to prepare for the election, encourage others to do the same. Help spread the word and make sure all Democrats are registered and ready to vote. Share information on voter registration deadlines, absentee ballot requests, and election dates to ensure everyone has the opportunity to vote.

Let’s make sure we reach every Democrat! If you would like to help us get more people involved, contact us to join our phone banks and texting banks. Let’s get all Dems on deck!

By taking these steps to get ready to vote in the elections, you can help make sure your voice is heard and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our country. Take action now to ensure you are prepared to vote and help make a difference in the upcoming elections.
